Herbs add a bunch of freshness to any recipe they are added to. You don’t need to limit these flavourful ingredients to just garnish. These 3 tasty recipes make use of herbs as the star ingredient. With proper prep you can even dish them up in less than 30 minutes. We tell you how –


Herb Salad
Cheese And Herb Patti Samosa
Herbed Baked Bean Rice

Shopping list

1 small packet of green basil
1 small packet of purple basil
2-3 red radish
1 head iceberg
1 head lollo rosso
1 head romaine
1 small packet of parsley
1 small packet of pumpkin seeds
1 small packet of pinenuts
1 small bottle of honey
1 small packet of thyme
1 small packet of oregano
1 small packet of rosemary
2 tins of baked beans
1 small bottle of olive oil
2 packets of samosa patties
1 packet of processed cheese
1 packet of mozzarella cheese
1 bunch of spring onions
1 small packet of chilli flakes
1 small packet of white pepper powder
1 bottle of dried oregano

For faster preparation

Process the vegetables and lettuce. Keep the cheese mixture ready for samosa. Make the samosas and set aside.

How to go about it

Toss the rice. Deep fry the samosas. Finally toss the salad.
